The Graphite AirPort Foundation Station is functionally identical to the Lucent RG-a thousand wireless base station and will operate the same firmware. Due to the first firmware-locked restrictions with the Silver card, the unit can only acknowledge 40-bit WEP encryption. Later aftermarket tweaks can allow 128-little bit WEP around the Silver card.
